COME AND MEET EACH OTHER
Come And Meet Each Other
CAMEO is a group for all ages, but most likely to appeal to seniors. It’s a chance each week to gather, enjoy one another’s company and build community and friendship.
We meet at St Matthew’s each Thursday morning from 10am.
We start with coffee and time to chat, followed by a “Thought for the Day”. At 11:15am there’s an activity – our packed calendar of events includes talks from guest speakers, musical entertainments, watching films together, quizzes and keep fit. The morning is rounded off by enjoying a light lunch of soup or sandwiches together. There is a small charge for coffee and/or lunch.
Other highlights throughout the year include a trip to a local place of interest and there are a couple of cooked lunches each term.
