Sunday club
All of us at St Matthew’s & The Minster are passionate about seeing all of our parents, young people and wider families grow as disciples of Jesus. In everything we do, we aim to help young people understand the Bible, develop their spiritual life and enable them to share the good news of Jesus with others.
Spread across the year, we have All-Age services where the whole church family stay together throughout. These aim to include something for everyone and help us learn together as a community from 0–90years (or beyond).
During our 10 o’clock service at St Matthew’s there is always a period where the whole church family worships together through singing, teaching and prayer. Then the children go to groups where through stories, games, crafts, and DVDs we learn about the hope of Jesus. When it is Communion children return from groups to receive communion with their family.
Under 2s can be left in the supervised creche, and parents can of course stay with them if they wish.

Each of our groups has their own regular dedicated team of leaders, with everything overseen by Charlotte Butcher-Barnard.
